Welcome To Intuitive Creativity
Consider when we are quiet inside, we are being intuitively guided all of the time. How do we access our quiet inner voice? It can be confusing to realize that most of our thoughts are not of our true self. How do we discover who we really are?
The following links explore developing intuition through spontaneous, expressive art making:
Expressive Art Workshops offers online expressive art classes and free Art Journal Prompts. The first offering is an online workshop is called Collage for Self-Discovery. This is a course in authentic, creative self-expression. It offers a deepening method of daily, reflective collage for opening up your creative heart. Whether you view yourself as creative or not, if you feel caught up in outer distractions and distant from your true self and feelings, if you want to use creativity to deepen your self-awareness and cultivate a more solid and joyful connection to your inner, authentic self, this is the course for you.
The Expressive Art Blog is my current, weekly updated online journal chronicling the expressive art journey towards a deeper, more connected inner life. If you are looking for an honest account of the human journey towards authentic self-expression you will find it here. I share my personal journey with the understanding that we all struggle in our humanness - our busy minds, our blocks, limitations and fears. The joys of self-understanding and revelation will, it is my hope, resonate with your own journey. Creatively there is something larger to trust. Expressive collage, painting and drawing light the way back to our larger more inspired selves.
The Intuitive Creativity Blog goes back from here and is archived to the right. It is a wide meditation on letting go of mental control in art and in life. It is about the journey from head to heart, body and soul. There is a deeper creativity underlying our ordinary days of which we are all a part. It just takes a while to learn to how to trust it.
